Well today more fighting over government spending, the government is said to have reached a $14 Trillion debt. Can you comprehend $14 Trillion dollars? Most people have a problem of getting their mind around a couple of million dollars. I am not sure I could help you or myself and try to put that into perspective, but I will try if nothing else for myself. The $14 trillion dollars represents each person in America owes $45,300 towards the debt. Now if you have a job that you make more than that amount then you are fortunate. Now here we can find out what we could buy with that kind of money. 14,000,000,000,000 this is what it looks like in long form. Well power went out will post when power comes back on.

Well it took a couple of hours to get power back on then I got busy with other stuff and forgot to post until now. Well my post is not about shitty government today. This will be off the wall. Yesterday was national signing day for college hopefuls. I checked out the incoming freshman for The Herd. From the few that committed to play for the Herd I am most interested in watching RB Steward Butler and RB Remi Watson. These two guys could make a big different in how The Herd performs in the next few years. Yes, I am an alumnus of Marshall University. Yes, in this state we have two university and until the movie WE ARE..Marshall was released few knew about Marshall. Today we have recognition as a respected university. Our bio technology department is slated to become the leader in bio technology research in the state of West Virginia. No, we do not receive the national recognition that we deserve but that is ok because “From the ashes we arose, WE.. ARE.. MARSHALL.” A football program that a lot of people wanted to shut down after the airplane crash in 1970. But in the 90’ we had a perfect season 15-0, had a three peat Mac championships. We also produced some of the most widely known and talented pro football players, like Troy Brown, Chad Pennington, Byron Leftwich, and Randy Moss. About the only ones that acknowledge that they come from Marshall are Troy Brown and Chad Pennington. That is not to say the others shun us, but Troy and Chad continue to this day in supporting Marshall University and the community.
Well GO HERD!!!!
